During Allen’s career as a trial lawyer, he has obtained millions of dollars for his clients and, in the process, has also earned the admiration of colleagues, employees, and clients alike. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in jury trials in both State and Federal Courts.
Throughout his career, Allen has received many honors for his legal practice, including the AV Preeminent® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, which represents the highest level of peer recognition. Allen has been recognized as an Upstate Legal Elite by The Greenville Business Journal from 2016-2025. He has been selected by The Best Lawyers in America® and has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer by the South Carolina Super Lawyers magazine from 2021-2026. In addition, he has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 trial attorneys in South Carolina several times and has twice been voted The Best Personal Injury Lawyer in the Upstate by readers of the Greenville News.
As a committed and grateful member of the Bar, Allen has served on the South Carolina Bar’s Professional Responsibility Committee and the South Carolina Bar’s Fee Resolution Dispute Board. He currently serves on the Lawyers’ Fund for Client Protection Committee of the South Carolina Bar.
Community involvement is important to Allen and everyone at the firm. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board for First Reliance Bank and has previously served on the Advisory Board of the Meyer Center for Special Children, the Board of Directors for Creative Advancement After-school Program for At-Risk Children, and on the Board of Directors for the Greenville Sexual Trauma Center. Moreover, he is honored to have won a Greer Citizen award on two occasions for his work with the Toys for Tots campaign by the Greer Police Department and is an active supporter of the Greenville Humane Society.
